"Laurelhurst" is a song I wrote in 10 minutes while riding my bike. I rode from my friends house in Laurelhurst to my house in Sunny Side. It's a 10 minute ride. It was a Saturday Afternoon I was hanging with everyone eating, drinking, smoking, play-n music, listing 2 music. My friend Erin just graduated from college it was a get-2-gether for her. My friend D Pel asked what song are U recording next. I called him when I got home. Laurelhurst is 1 minute 48 seconds long. You hit the chorus in 15 seconds, and again @ 58 seconds and ride it to the end. I think this song is BADASS in many ways.

"CRACKHEAD" is the only song from the original CD that I moved to APATHY 97214. The format of the song is different from most others: Into-Verse-Breakdown-Chorus and is about 1 minute and 13 seconds long. All the characters are real in this song as all the other 70 some songs I wrote about P-Town. I never thought anyone would like this song but actually I have found people really like it.

This CD "APATHY 97214" is the 2nd CD I wrote about Portland, Oregon. The 1st was "Apathy", which I finished the writing and was going back to NYC to record Dec 2005. I decided to stay with a band for a month before I left. January 2nd 2006 I decided to rewrite the CD. So I stayed and set up shop to complete. I'm hoping to be finished by FALL 2011.
